Artist Statement:
A kind of aesthetically massaged archive from an ongoing series of works first realised as studio based stencil assemblages. A way of making solid the vagaries, trials and exploration of outdoor work. While still existing as archives, nay diaries, these works have become more refined: less a mindful record and more a composition of available elements. The modes of production have expanded also to include other outdoor actions such as tagging, stickers, posters and free drawing.

This work is a coalescing of modes from other places, other cities. A little window into a bigger thing. That critical mass of street activisms which rolled through the world. The ripples of its passing only faintly registering on this city.
